Sara & Greg’s Pink and Teal Watercolor Wedding
We had such a fun time planning this Durham wedding! The moment we met Sara and Greg it was clear that their energy was contagious! As the design talks began Sara said that she did not have vision but proudly showed off her favorite paper pattern. The wondrous floral watercolor pattern of bright pink, sunset orange, and subtle greens proved to be the best inspiration for this bright happy couple.
Throwing a radiant garden party with an industrial background of Bay 7 provided the perfect design challenge. Pulling in the bright color pallet of the pattern aided in softening the brick undertones of the American Tobacco Campus. Sara was able to incorporate the inspiration pattern to the paper products and the cake table. The cake table had a custom hand painted linen that matched the original paper pattern creating a jaw dropping focal piece. The space embodied the youthful energy that made Sara and Greg so unique. What a great way to kick off a bright and happy marriage then with a dazzling party!
