High Point Wedding!! Triad Wedding Planner

Matt and Elise were married this gorgeous High Point Wedding! I loved planning with them and their families. They are a classic couple with great style and elegance. The bride is from North Carolina and when she and Matt got engaged in New York City, where they reside, she knew High Point Country Club was the perfect location for her wedding.

I presented the couple with some design ideas to choose from. They chose to go with a peacock blue, shades of pink, and silver palette. The ‘maids wore cocktail length dresses and carried lush bouquets of peonies and garden roses in varying shades of pink. Elise carried a cream and ivory version for her bouquet. It was the perfect complement to her gorgeous gown.

Matt and Elise read their personal vows in her family’s church in front of 350 of their family and friends. The altar was adorned with a white and cream floral runner that spanned the entire front of the church. It was highlighted by candlelight. It was a gorgeous complement to the bridesmaids colorful dresses and bouquets.

Guests arrived at the reception for a cocktail hour on the veranda. Here, guests enjoyed a variety of passed appetizers featuring some Indian flavors as a way to honor the Father of the Bride’s heritage.

The ballroom was stunningly decorated with a combination of table shapes and sizes. We had round tables with pewter crinkle linens, square tables with an ivory satin linen, and to tie the look together, rectangle tables that were dressed in an ivory satin and had a custom made pewter runner. Each table shape had its own styled centerpiece of lush flowers. Each place setting had a silver charger, ivory satin napkin, menu card, escort card, favor, and a pink rose.

After dinner and dancing, the band invited guests to go to the outdoor patio where we had lounge furniture set up. The guests were surprised by a 20-minute firework display that rivaled any July 4th celebration. It was a magical ending to a wonderful day!
