Eleanor + Alex's Angus Barn Wedding
Sometimes "the one" is across the ocean and it takes fate stepping in to make sure you meet. I loved hearing Eleanor's story of meeting Alex, who was born in England, while they were both college students here in North Carolina. After their romance began, they both moved around the world and spent many months of dating long distance. But distance makes the heart grow fonder! The wedding scenes below prove that these two truly were meant to be.
This entire wedding was the epitome of elegance! Eleanor's childhood school, St. David's, was the perfect spot for their classic ceremony. The couple even choose a song used at Kate and Will's Royal Wedding to reflect Alex's English background!
The Angus Barn glowed for the reception. Croquet was on the lawn, an American flag and The Union Jack balanced on either side of the fireplace, and a cigar station kept guests intrigued! Individual sprigs of flowers were tucked into each napkin on silver charges set atop platinum linens.
Good-humored speeches were given and then guests hit the dance floor! Eleanor and Alex and their parents were exceptional hosts. It was beautiful seeing everything come together, the decor, the music, and these two families. Congratulations, Eleanor and Alex!
Thank you to all the fabulous vendors we worked with!
