Fairytale Angus Barn Wedding in Raleigh, NC | Nicole + Austin

Nicole and Austin had their gorgeous Angus Barn wedding this past summer, and we had such a wonderful time planning and designing this event. They had classic style and great taste.  

When we were looking for their wedding venue, they were quickly drawn to the rustic elegance of the Pavilion at The Angus Barn. Nicole has a large Greek family, and their hearty guest list of 300 fit comfortably for both the ceremony and reception at the venue. Being big fans of the Angus Barn, it was a natural fit!

Their ceremony was so meaningful and sweet. The couple’s Pastor from DC came to North Carolina to officiate, and his words were beautiful. Austin’s reaction to stunning Nicole is what romantic movies are made of.

Our sweet bride loved pale blue, grays, and bright greens.  We took Nicole’s love of blue and hydrangeas and transformed the Pavilions into something out of a fairytale. Custom grey draping on the fireplace helped to soften the space and add a romantic touch to the evening. By mimicking the draping behind the ceremony site, guests were able to feel the cohesiveness of the event.

Everyone danced the night away in the party tent. We moved the floral ceremony circle onto the band stage, and the drummer had a great backdrop! From the Greek band to incorporate family traditions to the upbeat rhythms of Affirmative Groove, the dance floor was packed all night long.
